
Bob Duthaler
Executive Director
Bob Duthaler has been the Executive Director for WBMA-TV for the last 19 years, making the station one of the top operating and award winning stations in the State of New Jersey. In addition, he served as the President of the Jersey Access Group, the states leading Telecommunications and Television Access organization for 19 years. JAG is also an affiliate organization of the New Jersey League of Municipalities. Bob also served as President of the New Jersey Chapter of NATOA, a national organization of Telecommunication Officers and Advisors.
Bob has been in the television and video industry for over 38 years. Having worked for MTV Networks, Fox Network, and the Comedy Channel, to name a few. Bob has developed over a dozen game shows. He has also done numerous comedy specials for HBO, Showtime, and The Lifetime Network, along with a year-end countdown show for NBC. Bob also entered the talk show circuit with “Never Too Late”, hosted by Dr. Ruth Westhiemer and “Mind Your Business” and “Breakthrough” hosted by Barry Farber. Has won an ACE Award for “Game Show of the Year” for “Turn It Up”, a musical/trivia game show for MTV. Currently, Member of the National Academy of Television arts and Sciences (EMMYS), he owns and operates his own multimedia production company, Duke Multimedia Productions, in New Jersey.
Darryl Love
Director
Darryl has worked in broadcast television production and audio-visual services for more than three decades and is a 5-time Emmy Award winner. For 15 years (1993-2008) he was a staffer for NBC Sports, where his projects included work on 5 Olympic Games, the NFL, NBA, NHL, Notre Dame Football, and the Dew Tour. He continues to freelance for major networks, including MLB Network, NFL Network, Red Bull Media House, The Big Ten Network and ESPN.
From 2009-2012, Love ran Nightshift Multimedia Studios, a video production company that serviced clients including St. Peter’s Prep of Jersey City (Athletic Department), AOL StudioNow, Feinstein’s at the Regency (NY) and NJ municipal clients, East Orange and Belleville.
Love entered government TV in 2003 as a member of the cable advisory committee in Bloomfield, NJ. Over the next few years, he was instrumental in re-launching the township’s WBMA-TV station andhelping put in place a management and operating structure that has become a model for NJ municipalities. He served as the committee chairman from 2011- 2015. Darryl also served as a Trustee on the board of the Jersey Access Group, a statewide organization representing New Jersey’s localchannels.
Love gained corporate production and management experience early in his career, working for consumer products companies Procter & Gamble and Colgate-Palmolive. He launched his career in media as a mobile & radio disc jockey in the early 1980’s.
Raised in Newark, NJ, Love is a graduate of Seton Hall Prep. He earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and pursued graduate television coursework at New York University. He is a 2009 graduate of The Rising Tide Capital Community Business Academy, a nationally recognized entrepreneurial training program.


Garrett Geary
Technical Director / Editor
Garrett has worked in television and film production since 2009 in a variety of roles ranging from Production Assistant to Camera Operator to Technical Director and Editor.
Asaf Berenfeld
Cameraperson
Throughout his professional career, Asaf has repeatedly demonstrated persistence and determination in the face of technical and artistic obstacles. He has creatively dealt with such catastrophes as electrical failures and broken camera mechanisms. Asaf has a great deal of resolve that allows him to work through any climatic condition. He has worked in temperatures of almost 40 degrees below freezing in Quebec, Canada, and in the hot and humid tropical rainforests of Trinidad.
Whether from a helicopter, a boat or the top of a skyscraper, Asaf has the talent and dedication to work in diverse situations and environments and achieve incredible results. He carefully strategizes each shoot and executes beautifully through brilliant use of light, filters and motion.
Asaf received his Associates Degree and Technical Certificate in Television Production and Photography from Sapir College, a branch of The Ben Gurion University in Israel. He has done extensive television videography in Israel including major news events from the Middle East (Multicam, OB Van, Studio/Live), cooking shows, concerts, sports and news magazines from CBS, PBS, Danish television and many more. In the US, Asaf worked for Atlantic Television Crew filming corporate PR and red carpet events. He filmed documentaries for Discovery Channel, BBC, ITN, BBC Wales, Food Channel and Alhurra TV. He was Director of Photography for SYFY/NBC and BET Television. At City Lights Media Group he was a DP for HGTV, History Channel, Travel Channel and Speed Network. As a result of his work at Speed Network, he was nominated for an Emmy Award in the category of best sports photography in the Northeast. At Vayner Media Asaf was a DP for commercials such as Budweiser Light, Mixxtail, Budweiser, Mastercard Priceless, Sour Patch Kids and General Electric. In New Jersey Asaf has worked steadily for Duke Multimedia Productions and DNS Media Group for the past 15 years filming sports, concerts, news and cultural events.


Stephen Kwiecien
Cameraperson
Stephen is a broadcast and production professional with 12+ years of experience in studio/crew management, live events, municipal television, and sports videography. He is a 2019 graduate of Montclair State University’s School of Communication and Media. He’s operated at every level — from managing a local access station in New Jersey to assisting in EVS tape operation for CBS late-night. He is comfortable behind a TriCaster, a camera, or a full control room, and known for being technically sharp, reliable, and easy to have on a crew.
Jasmine Crespo
Cameraperson
Jasmine is videographer and assistant camera from Newark, New Jersey. She frequently works with local access television stations to cover community events and studio shows.


Rick Gearhart
Cameraperson / Editor
Rick started his career in PEG Television at WBMA-TV 17 years ago, in 2009. Currently he runs the PEG station for the Township of Montclair since 2016, and I still freelance as an camera operator and editor for WBMA when the time allows.
Liam Waddleton
Production Assistant / Cameraperson
Liam graduated from Montclair State University in May 2023, and began working in public access TV the same week he graduated. His main skills are camera operation, video editing, and motion graphics.
In his spare time, Liam is a hobbyist 3D modeler and carpenter.
